Beauty Courses: Level 2 Distance Learning and Level 2 Diploma

Are you looking for a beauty course that will help you to train as a beauty therapist? Or maybe you just want to take a beauty course and use the skills in a non-professional capacity.

Whatever your motivation, you’ll love the Accredited level 2 Beauty Specialist diplomas we offer at Athena Beauty Training Centre. We even have one in distance learning!

Accredited and Recognised Level 2 Beauty Courses

Our accredited level 2 Beauty Specialist courses are very popular. They’re an ideal entry point for working in beauty therapy:

Beauty Specialist Diploma Level 2

The Beauty Specialist Diploma Level 2 is one of our most popular beauty training courses.

It’s an accredited 4-day practical course that covers manicures, pedicures, facial massage and skincare, make-up, waxing and eye treatments. The theory for this includes an online ITEC approved course.

This is a popular course, especially with the facials and skincare element. A lot of people want to kick things off with skincare when they first study beauty therapy.

We do offer a one-day Accredited Facial Massage and Skincare Diploma that specifically covers facials and skincare but many people want to study the other areas too. This gives a much more well-rounded set of skills to use on clients.

So, what do you learn on the Beauty Specialist Level 2 Diploma?  It’s a perfect mix of practical and theory to set you up for the future.

The first two modules cover the professional side of beauty therapy and understanding the anatomy and physiology of the face and body. This includes things like health and safety, communicating with clients and keeping client records.

Learning about how treatments can affect the skin and body is important too when you’re working with clients.

After that, you’ll focus on the treatment side of things.

Beauty Specialist Level 2 Certificate – Distance Learning Course

Looking for a beauty course for beginners that is also a home study course?

You can also complete a Beauty Specialist Level 2 distance learning certificate.

Although you can do this beauty course from home, we recommend doing a hands-on course too — especially if you’re going to work in a salon setting and offer these types of treatments to the public.

This gives you practical experience of performing beauty therapy services and helps you to put your knowledge and skills into action before you offer the services to clients.

At the end of the course, you’ll gain a Recognised Athena Beauty Training Centre Distance Learning Certificate.
